How to Change Your Password

Need to update your login credentials? Follow these step-by-step instructions to change your password directly within the Vida app.

Step 1. Open the Vida App on your mobile device.

Step 2. Click on the gear icon in the top right-hand corner.

Click Gear Icon

Step 3. Select "Change Password."

Select Change Password

Step 4. Enter your old password in the "Current Password" section.

Step 5. Type in your new password in the "New Password" section.

🔒 Your new password must have:

  • At least 8 characters
  • At least 1 capital letter
  • At least 1 number
  • At least 1 special character
Type New Password

Step 6. Tap "Change Password."

💡 Tips for Creating a Strong Password
To keep your health data completely secure, avoid using common words, sequential numbers (like "1234"), or easily guessable personal info like your birth year or pet's name. Consider using a memorable phrase with substituted characters instead!
❓ Forgot your current password?
If you don't know your current password and cannot complete these steps, log out of the application entirely. On the main sign-in screen, tap "Forgot Password" to trigger a secure reset link sent directly to your account email address.
