Vida will empower you to track and manage your blood pressure (BP). All you need to do is log your BP, and the app will share some key details regarding your reading. Your care team will also review your readings and share their insights with you.
If your latest reading is high and needs immediate attention, please read this section.
App Alerts
The Vida App will notify you when your latest reading falls into one of the following categories:
- Low
- Normal
- Elevated
- Stage 1 Hypertension
- Stage 2 Hypertension
- Hypertension Urgency & Crisis
The notifications will appear on your device. It will let you know if your reading needs attention, along with some new reading content for you to learn more about what your reading means. Tap on the notification banner to review the information in your app.

Navigate to the Content Card
To find the content card, go to the Chat screen. Tap on the content card to open and read the information and take action.
Your Care Team
Your readings are shared with your care team for review. If you are participating in our CMB Prescribing Program (Core or Advanced), a member of your care team will be in touch to talk about the next steps to help you get to and stay in a safe target range if your reading falls into any of the following stages:
- Low
- Stage 2 Hypertension
- Hypertension Urgency & Crisis
Be sure to take note of any questions you have in anticipation of your next discussion.
Hypertension Urgency & Crisis
If your latest reading is critically high, something needs attention right away.
Please read the information provided in the Chat screen of the Vida app and take action. If you need immediate medical attention, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are participating in our CMB Prescribing Program (Core or Advanced), a member of your Vida Care team will also call you in the next 24 hours to talk about getting medical care and follow-up.
To ensure timely action, you will receive an email notification.
