Prepare Your Documents:
1. Use a PDF. If you have a PDF file, download that file and follow the instructions below on how to share with Vida. No PDF? Scan the document to make a PDF file.
2. Take a picture.
- Paper results: Lay your paper flat on a surface, with good lighting. Open your phone camera, hold it over the page, and move your phone until the results fit in the screen. Take a few pictures in a row in case one is blurry.
- Online: Open the lab results in the medical office or lab online portal. Many have an option to “Print” your results. You can use this print function to save an electronic PDF to your phone or computer. Or you can take a “screen grab” or “screen shot.” It’s OK if all the results don’t fit in 1 picture. Make as many pictures as needed to show all the results. Make sure one of the images has your name, date of birth and the date of lab visit or prescription.
Tip: Not sure how to take a screenshot? Click here for instructions on how to take a screenshot on iOS. Click here for instructions on how to take a screenshot on most Android devices. If your device differs, try a web search for instructions on how to take a screenshot on your device.
