Vida is capable of tracking calorie intake, steps, exercise, meals, heart rate, sleep, and much more! Curious about tracking something? Just ask your coach!
Your trackers can be found on the Home Screen. You may need to scroll down to see it on your screen:
Please note: Some program-based trackers are automatically added to your list. (E.G. you may already see a blood sugar tracker if you’re in our Whole Health program).
Read below to learn how to Add, Log, Edit, or delete metrics on your trackers.
Vida App on iOS
For the instructions below, we’ll use the sugar tracker (found under Nutrition) as an example.
Adding a tracker
In the Trackers section on your home screen, tap Edit.
Tap the + Add More Weekly Goals to bring up the category list of things you can track.
Tap the category of choice, then tap to select the goal type.
Set the parameters of your goal, then tap Create Weekly Goal.
Your weekly goal will be listed under Weekly Goals.
Log a metric on your tracker
Tap + to input a metric.
Enter the metric, tap Done to close the number pad, then tap Add to log the metric.
Your log is successful when you return to the home screen and you see a green checkmark in the tracker.
Log a metric for a specific date/time on your tracker
Tap + to input a metric.
Tap the Day and Time above to set the desired date and time then tap Done.
Enter the metric, tap Done to close the number pad, then tap Add to log the metric.
Your log is successful when you return to the home screen and you see a green checkmark in the tracker.
Edit a metric on your tracker
Tap the tracker from your home screen, then tap history.
Tap a previously logged metric to bring up the edit window. Tap the number to enter the new metric, tap Done to close the number pad, then tap Update to log the metric.
Delete a metric on your tracker
Tap the tracker from your home screen, then tap history.
Tap and slide the metric to show the Delete button. Tap Delete to remove the metric.

For the instructions below, we’ll use the exercise duration tracker (found under Activity & Sleep) as an example.
Adding a tracker
In the Trackers section on your home screen, tap Edit Goals.
Tap the + to bring up the category list of things you can track.
Tap the category of choice, then tap to select the goal type.
Set the parameters of your goal, then tap Set Weekly Goal.
Your weekly goal will be listed under Weekly Goals.
Log a metric on your tracker
Tap + to input a metric.
Enter the metric details, then tap Log to log the metric.
Your log is successful when you return to the home screen and you see a green checkmark in the tracker.
Log a metric for a specific time on your tracker
Tap + to input a metric.
Tap the Time above to set the desired time then tap Ok.
Note: You can not specify a specific date - only time - on Android. Please chat with your coach on how to add a metric for a specific date.
Enter the metric details, then tap Log to log the metric.
Your log is successful when you return to the home screen and you see a green checkmark in the tracker.
Delete a metric on your tracker
Tap the tracker from your home screen, then tap history.
Tap and slide the metric to show the Delete button. Tap Delete to remove the metric.
Note: You can not edit a previously logged tracker on Android. Please chat with your coach on editing a previously logged metric.
