How to Add New Metrics
In order to add new metrics to your trackers start by going to the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner.
Search for the tracker you’d like to add to.
For Example, Logging Exercise
Simply press on the + button at the right-hand side of the screen associated with the Log Exercise tracker. A new window will open up asking for the Exercise Duration.
Let’s say your workout was 120 minutes, simply use your keyboard to type this # in. Then press Done.
Next, in the box below this number, you will be asked for your Exercise Intensity. Let’s say you REALLY sweat in this 120-minute workout. Simply press on this, and search for Very High. Then press Done.
Once this is completed, you will be asked for the Exercise Type. So for your Very High, 120-minute workout, the Type of workout was the Running. Press on the Exercise Type, and then search for Running in the options provided (Other is an option too).
Next! Look for the Blue bar at the bottom of your screen that will either say Add or Log depending on the mobile device you are using.
That’s it! You’ll be taken back to the Today tab with your workout fully entered. Just look for the ✓ next to that tracker.
Each metric will be a little different depending on what you are trying to keep track of.
How to Edit & Delete Metrics
If you log data incorrectly you can easily edit/delete your entry. Follow these instructions on how to do so.
Note- You cannot currently edit metrics that are synced in by third-party apps such as Fitbit or Apple Health. If any of this data comes in incorrectly, or you are seeing duplication of metrics, please reach out to support@vida.com and let us know!
Also, Note -You cannot currently edit metrics on the Android platform. If you need to make changes to a metric, you will need to delete the item and enter it again.
Sometimes, it just happens that things are logged incorrectly. When this is the case, you can easily edit what you've logged.
Simply start by going into the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner. Search for the Tracker you entered the incorrect information into. Let’s keep using Logging Exercise as an example.
Select the + or ✓ and a new window will pop up. There are two sections located at the top of the screen, which allows you to either Input or view at your tracker’s History. You will have to press on the History tab.
Here, you can see the tracker’s History for the day, along with a Timestamp. If you mistakenly typed in the wrong # for the duration for your exercise, you can edit or delete the information from here.
To Edit for iOS
If you're on an iOS device, you can Edit the recently entered information. If you are an Android device, please scroll down to the section How to Delete.
To Edit the incorrect information press on the incorrect information, and a new window will open up. This will let you edit the information you have already inputted. Once you’re done, press Update located at the bottom of the screen.
How to Delete
To Delete the incorrect information simply follow these instructions:
For iOS Devices
For iOS Devices simply swipe Left, and the Delete option will become available. Just press Delete and this information will be erased.
For Android Devices
Simply press the little Trash Can icon located on the right-hand side, and this information will be erased.
How to Edit Previous Information
If you need to go back to a previous day because you forgot to log your Friday Workout, and it’s Tuesday, start by going to the Today tab located at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen.
For iOS Devices
Look for the date located at the top of the screen, and press on it. A drop-down menu will appear with the past calendar days. You can go back and forth between the days swiping either left or right. You can select the number for the day you missed here. Your Today Tab will be redirected to that day.
For Android Devices
Look for the little Calendar icon located at the top right-hand corner of the screen. It will be next to the Trophy icon. Simply select this, and the calendar will open up to the most current day.
You can change the year by selecting the # that sits on top of the weekday. You can change the month by toggling between the < & >.
Then simply select the day you wish to edit. Once done, press OK, and your Today will be redirected to that day.
