This article explains how to prepare and share your documents with Vida for quick processing. Whether you are on your phone or your computer, you can upload files directly to your account to ensure your provider has the most up-to-date information.
Please note: It typically takes 24–72 business hours for documents to be processed once uploaded.
1. Prepare Your Documents: PDF is Preferred ✅
We strongly prefer PDF files. They are the fastest and most accurate way for your provider to review your data. A PDF clearly shows your full name, date of birth, the lab name, and all results in one file.
How to Download Labs from MyChart/Portals (Saving as PDF)
Log in to your MyChart or lab portal.
Navigate to Test Results.
Click on a specific test (e.g., "Lipid Panel").
Look for a printer icon or a three-dot menu (⋯); click Print.
In the print options, look for the share icon (square with an upward arrow).
Select Save to Files.
Tip: Rename the file before saving so you can find it easily!
Alternative Methods (Photos/Screenshots) 📸
If a PDF is not possible, you may take a photo of paper results or a screenshot of online results.
Paper results: Lay the paper flat in good lighting. Ensure the image is not blurry.
Online results: Take as many screenshots as needed to capture the full report.
CRITICAL: What your document must include
Regardless of the format, your document MUST show:
Your full name and Date of Birth
Date of test/test name
The result or "value"
(For GLP-1 users): Medication name, dose, and start date.
