❓ FAQs
Q: How do I set up my BPM in the Vida app?
A: Open Vida, tap ⚙️ Settings > Connect Devices & Apps > Connect with Others. Select BodyTrace BPM, tap Connect+, enter your 15-digit serial number, then tap Authorize.
Q: How do I take a blood pressure reading?
A: Plug in the cuff, wrap it on your bare upper arm, sit upright with your arm at heart level, then press START/STOP. Pull to refresh on the Home screen in the Vida app—your reading will appear shortly.
Q: The monitor won’t turn on or the cuff won’t inflate—what do I do?
A: Check that four AA batteries are installed correctly. If the display powers on but the cuff stays flat, ensure the cuff plug is fully seated.
Q: How do I wrap the cuff correctly?
A: Thread the cuff end through the D-ring to form a loop, slide your arm through (smooth side against skin), tighten snugly (not painful), and align the tube down the center of your inner arm.
Q: Why are my readings different from my doctor’s?
A: Home readings can vary with posture, cuff placement, or movement. Always sit still, back supported, and measure at the same time each day.
Q: What if my blood pressure cuff doesn't fit?
A: Our cuff fits arms 22–42 cm in circumference. If it still feels too tight or loose, please let us know and we can assist further.
