Patients can update the following information on the Patient Portal:
- Contact information
- Notification preferences
- Patient photo
- Family access
- Guarantor information
- Tobacco History
You will also be able to make payments on outstanding balances and view insurance information.
Paying a Bill or Balance through the Patient Portal
To Update Contact Information
Step 1. Locate your name in the top right of the screen and select “My Profile” from the dropdown menu.
Step 2. Select EDIT and you are now able to update all contact and billing information. You are also able to upload your photo on this screen and update emergency contacts.
Step 3. Be sure to hit submit at the bottom of the page to save all your new information
Important Note: Your name must match exactly to what is printed on your BCBSIL Insurance card, including any hyphens or suffixes. If your name is spelled incorrectly on your card or your DOB is incorrect, please contact BCBSIL at the number found on the back of your card.
To Update Notification Settings
Step 1. Locate your name in the top right of the screen and select Notifications from the dropdown menu. The following screen will appear and all settings can be updated on this page.
Step 2. Be sure to save your changes by selecting Save at the bottom of the screen.
