Setting up the Accu-Chek Guide

Once you have set up your device, connect your Accu-Check Guide to the Vida App. Please then select the Settings Tab, located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Then Please select Connect Devices & Apps.

 

You should then see 3 boxes with different options to connect your device. Scroll down to the Bluetooth box. 

Once you have pressed that scroll down the screen and look for Bluetooth. You will then choose Glucose Meter, and then choose your meter from the list.

In this case, you are looking for Roche Accu-Chek Guide. 

Once you have chosen the correct meter, you will be brought to screen that will give you instructions to proceed with your meter. You may be asked to use Bluetooth. If you are, choose OK. Turn your meter on by pressing and holding the OK button. Once turned, on scroll down to Settings and hit the OK button. Then choose Wireless.  Your device should begin pairing to your phone at this point. 

Once pairing begins, a number will be displayed on the Accu-Chek. You will want to enter this number into your phone and then press Pair. 

Once the device is properly paired, you will see a Checkmark with a success message on the glucose meter, and your phone will go back to the BLE device page, showing that your Accu-Chek is now connected to Vida.
