- Vida Health obtains emergency contact information for each member in the event a client presents with a medical or psychiatric emergency during a live coaching call. Vida Health may support connecting a client to care during live coaching calls if a client presents in crisis.
- Vida Health does not provide an assessment of emergencies, medical crises, or psychiatric crises and does not provide medical or psychiatric advice. Vida Health will only contact emergency personnel in the event a client presents as visibly unconscious, as a danger to him/herself, or a danger to others.
- Vida Health is not a crisis service and does not provide crisis services. Vida Health does not monitor Chat threads or a member’s responses in tools or lessons. If a member provides information that suggests they are in need of crisis support via the app’s Chat feature, lesson responses, or tool responses, Vida Health will try to reach the member directly upon learning the information. If unsuccessful in reaching the member, Vida Health may reach out to the member’s emergency contact in an effort to best support the member.
