If you are not getting notifications, it is because at some point you might have dismissed or disabled your push notifications when you first installed the app. You may also be on an older version of the app.
To find out, simply go to your phone's settings, then choose Notifications. Next, scroll down the list and see if you can find Vida. If you can find Vida, check to see if notifications are turned on.
If you do not see Vida, then you will need to uninstall and reinstall the app in order to get notifications to work again.

If you do see Vida in this list just choose Vida, and then confirm that notifications are indeed turned on.
If they are, you will then log back into your Vida app, locate the Settings section of the app.
The Settings can be found by clicking the Gear Icon in the top right corner on the Home Screen.
Next, choose Push Notifications and confirm that they are set to All Messages.
