Connecting BodyTrace Scale with Vida

To connect your BodyTrace Scale to the Vida app:

1. Remove the scale from its box and insert 4 AA batteries into the back of the scale, ensuring they are placed in alternating directions.
2. Open the Vida App on your mobile device and log in to your account.
3. Tap on the Settings tab located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
            
4. In the new screen that appears, you can edit your account information. Select the Connect Devices & Apps tab.
5. Look for the box labeled "Connect with Fitbit, Garmin, Withings, or Others," and tap on it.
            
6. A new window will open, showing the devices menu. Search for the BodyTrace Scale tab by scrolling up.
7. Once you find the BodyTrace Scale, tap on "Connect."
   
8. Another window will open, prompting you to enter the 15-digit serial number found on the back of your BodyTrace Device.
9. Enter the serial number and select "Authorize" to send your information to Vida
   
10. You will be directed back to the device selection menu. To test the scale, place it down and step on it.
11. On your mobile device, go back to the "Home" screen and pull down to refresh the page. Your weight should be listed there.
    
12. Congratulations! Your BodyTrace Scale is now synced with Vida. Feel free to refresh your app.

Can I connect my Bodytrace Scale through the web app?

• You can connect your BodyTrace Scale through the web app. Make sure you also have the weight tracker open on your mobile app to see the connection occur.
• Log into your account at vida.com/clients and go to the toolbar on the left-hand side of the browser.
  
• Click on the "Me" tab.
  
• At the top of the screen, look for the "Connect Devices" tab.
  
  
• In the devices menu, search for the BodyTrace Scale tab and click on "Connect."

• A new window will open, asking you to enter the 15-digit serial number found on the back of your BodyTrace Device. Enter the number and select "Authorize" to send your information to Vida.

• Navigate to your Mobile app to view the weight tracker.
