There will be questions or issues in the dashboard that might require a little more information that can help our Internal support and Dev team in finding out the root cause. This can either be with the Phone/ Video Call feature or even with getting your results from the dash search bar.
The Support team on some occasions will request a screenshot of your Console screen while running the specific feature in question. Here below are the steps to achieve that.
Right-click on the screen and on the drop-down options, select "Inspect".
This will then open another screen on the right half of the current view you are at.
As you can see on the screenshot above, two tabs to the right of the Console tab is the Network tab. This too can be required depending on the tests that Support needs to run.
As a reminder, you will need to be running the specific function that you and the support are troubleshooting for both the Console and Network screen to capture the needed information.
How to take screenshots depending on the type of computer you are using:
- Press and hold these three keys together: Shift, Command, and 4.
- Drag the crosshair to select the area of the screen to capture. To move the selection, press and hold Space bar while dragging. To cancel taking the screenshot, press the Esc (Escape) key.
View the site you're experiencing difficulty with.
- Press Ctrl + Show windows . (For non-Chrome OS keyboards, press Ctrl + F5.) Your screenshot is saved as a PNG file in your "Downloads" folder.
- To capture your entire screen and automatically save the screenshot, tap the Windows key + Print Screen key. Your screen will briefly go dim to indicate that you've just taken a screenshot, and the screenshot will be saved to the Pictures > Screenshots folder.
