Getting ready for a session with your coach or therapist? Here are some helpful tips to get the most out of the call.
-
Make sure you’re connected to a reliable network. Video calls require a reliable internet connection. You’ll want to make sure that your mobile device is on your Wifi Network, if possible, and in an area where you get the strongest connection. The closer you can sit to your router, the better.
- To ensure that you’re in an area with the best signal, go to https://www.speedtest.net/ and click "GO." Your results should show you whether or not the speed of your connection is suitable for video. If it isn't, try to find an area where it is.
- Please note: If you’re in an area with a poor connection, the video portion of the call may drop out — leaving you with a voice call.
- We recommend logging into your Vida app 2-5 minutes before your call starts.
Once the call has started, try not to switch between your wifi and phone network. Switching between networks while on the call may cause it to freeze.
